Our Venue

Birdies Cabaret Theater and Lounge is a dark little gem in the heart of the Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock, Arkansas.  We love Argenta and lean into the history of the town.  In fact, our name came from one of the madams from days past when Argenta wasn't as polished as it is today.

The theater is intimate by design—close enough to the stage to catch every raised eyebrow, every alluring look. The entertainment? Eclectic, in one word. You will see everything from comedy and improv to magic and mentalism, burlesque performances and music.  The music will cover the range from a sultry jazz trio to a thunderous metal act.  But the entertainment doesn't stop at stage shows.  There will be plenty of audience interactive games, special events (where costumes are encouraged) and karaoke. If you want to see it on a stage, you will see it at Birdies. Expect the unexpected.

The cocktails are sharp, inventive, and dangerously good. The food walks a fine line between high-end and hedonistic—decadent without being pretentious. Candlelight flickers off velvet curtains and original art pieces. There’s something just slightly unusual about the place, like the building remembers every performance and holds onto their guests and...ghosts.
